Krug's First Law of Usability

Krug's First Law of Usability is, "Don't Make Me Think." Basically this means when designing for the web, you need to make sure that everything on your web page is laid out as simple as you can make it. The point of having information on the internet is to get it all across to the user, and this information needs to be managed in a neat and orderly fashion. Thinking should not even be an option for the user when they enter your website. The easier it is to navigate, the better overall experience the user will have.
