The Core Creative Concept
This website is going to be designed based off of the course theme that Professor Noel has chosen, which relates to the Civil War. It will be a home for all of the class, so they can share and view each others work. Each page on the website will have its on navigation bar on the side, along with the main navigation bar on the top.
The Overall Look and Feel
The look of this website will definitely be catered to the overall theme of the class, which coincides with the Civil War. I've decided to go with lighters colors, such as tan to help fit the feel of the theme.
Purpose & Objectives
The main purpose for this website is to give students a place to display their work to one another, and have it as a main home for the class.
Information Architecture
The website will mainly be navigated by two navigation bars. There will be a main navigation bar that displays on all pages, and a side navigation bar that pertains to each individual page.
Audience
The main audience for this website will consist of the students of Professor Noel's english 102 class.
Design Visuals & Hierarchy
I think for this website, overall the typeface will be one that is fairly simple and clean. Something like Helvetica or Times New Roman would probably fit just fine with the classic and historic feel that describes the theme of this class.
